The Give Change That Counts campaign aims to strengthen our community and reduce panhandling through the establishment of alternative support networks and enhanced coordination of resources. Funds raised through the campaign, taking place from May to October of 2021, will help establish and support day centers throughout the area that act as safe havens and resource centers for those in need. This campaign has been developed in coordination with the City of Savannah, Chatham County, Chatham-Savannah Authority for the Homeless and a robust list of organizations in the area including Savannah Downtown Business Association, Visit Savannah Chamber of Commerce/Visit Savannah, Savannah Downtown Neighborhood Association, Savannah Economic Development Authority, Savannah’s Waterfront, and the Tourism Leadership Council. As a local business, please consider joining our efforts to reduce panhandling on the streets of our community. With your help, we can make a great impact! Here’s how you can help:
