The Savannah Downtown Business Association is a member supported, non-profit organization created by, funded by and comprised of business owners, business leaders and other parties invested in working together to ensure a vibrant future for the businesses and residents of Downtown Savannah. We are nearly 200 members strong.
As Savannah’s only membership organization exclusively committed to downtown businesses we are made up of retailers, restaurateurs, professional service providers, utility companies, marketers and bankers to name just a few.
Monthly luncheons, held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, are designed to inform and educate our members on topics relevant to sustaining a healthy, well-rounded and profitable downtown. In addition to hearing exceptional local speakers, the SDBA presents speakers from across the United States whose expertise guide us towards our mission. Luncheons offer excellent networking opportunities as well as monthly Member Spotlights.
Though we are an independent organization with a strong, cohesive voice, the SDBA frequently advocates for our membership on issues that affect downtown businesses through mutually beneficial working relationships with likeminded organizations. Together we form a unified voice working towards the common goal of a thriving economy based on a cooperation between local businesses, governmental agencies and the residential community.
